Lampshade Guide

Our pleated lampshades are made with GOTS certified Organic Cotton, and are hand block-printed in India by our partners of Mehera Shaw.

The lampshades come fitted with an E26 Uno Fitter that you slip over the socket. If you have a lamp with a spider or harp fitter, your local hardware store should be able to change the socket at no great cost.

Which size lampshade should you choose? A great rule of thumb is a 60/40 height ratio: 60% lamp, 40% lampshade. However, some lamps look great with a smaller or bigger lampshade. If you're not sure, feel free to reach out to swd@sophiewilliamsondesign.com for help.
